Stories Of Yesteryear – Old School TV
The National Archives of Singapore presents Old School TV, a selection of Educational Television (ETV) programmes produced by the Curriculum Development Institute of Singapore (CDIS) and its predecessors from 1967-1983. ETV represented a milestone in Singapore’s education system. It introduced a new dynamism in education through the use of educational broadcasting by the government and pioneered new learning approaches and fresh teaching ideas for both students and teachers. Digitised recordings from this series that are preserved at the National Archives will be streamed from April 2022. This series is produced by the National Archives of Singapore, an institution of the National Library Board.
