Dev, a fallen angel, is sent to earth for two days to realise how his errant ways have changed the course of the lives of three innocent people. For this mission, he is given the persona of Karthik, a popular radio jockey.

Dev visits Mayilvaganam and his wife Kamatchi in hospital after the latter has been diagnosed with cancer. He starts wondering why bad things happen to inherently good people.

Dev is deemed to have learnt his lessons but instead of returning to Heaven, he decides to stay on earth and make amends for his mistakes. In Karthik's absence, he goes to the radio station where he tries to motivate Latha, a talented colleague who lacks confidence, to sing on-air.

When Dev learns from Mayilvaganam that they had visited an astrologer who had predicted doom and gloom for Kamatchi, he visits the fortune teller and advises him to speak words of encouragement to his clients instead. Lavanya meets up with her boyfriend, who had broken up with her, to break the news to him that she's pregnant.

Dev isn't letting go of Latha, who had backed out during the previous broadcast, and motivates her yet again to sing on-air. Will Latha give in to her fears or shy away again? Lavanya is in a dilemma over how to break the news about her pregnancy to her mother.

Pazhani visits the astrologer who predicts that he's not out of the woods yet but now has the strength to overcome the challenges ahead. Dev brings the astrologer to Kamatchi who imbues confidence in her with his words of positivity and encouragement. Mdm Durga calls in to the radio programme and laments that she has not seen her son for years and seeks help.

Pazhani and Karthik visit Mdm Durga and suggest that they will upload a video of her wanting to reconcile with her son. Sangeetha's relationship with her boyfriend Guna turns sour and Guna is instigated by his friend to take it out on Karthik, Sangeetha's ex-boyfriend.

Mdm Durga's son, Moorthy, walks in to the radio station and confronts Maaran, the station head, for airing their dirty laundry on radio broadcast. Latha tries to convince Maaran not to retrench Pazhani while Karthik takes to social media to rally support for Pazhani.

Love blossoms between Karthik and newbie Sangeetha as he teaches her the ropes at work. However, Karthik's life turns upside down as he is suspended for not turning up for work after partying with an old friend. As ill fate would have it, Karthik's troubles are compounded when he ends up in debts through a scam, courtesy of his old friend.

The inevitable happens when Karthik meets Dev who explains to him his journey from Heaven to Earth. Lavanya meets up with a family friend who's a gynaecologist to seek advice. Kamatchi and Mayilvaganam keep their fingers crossed as the former has an appointment with the doctor for her cancer.

Karthik's father calls in to the radio programme to lament about how his son has rented out his house, which he deems sacred, to unsavoury characters. Karthik then pleads with Dev to allow him to go on-air to speak to his Dad. Meanwhile Guna, prompted by his friend, hires a hitman to incapacitate Karthik.

After making amend with his father, Karthik resigns his job and plans to leave the country while Dev prepares to ascend to Heaven. Guna is held hostage by the hitman and is forced to trick Sangeetha into getting Karthik down to the hitman's den.

Lavanya gets Karthik's help to help break the news about her pregnancy to her mother. Dev makes his way to the hitman's den where the hitman is waiting with open arms. Sangeetha frantically tries to warn Dev.
