Vanessa and Tessa are pitching to get their first app development funding for “The Cheaters App”. But Vanessa is scarred by a video of her ex-boyfriend cheating, and underperforms. While the prize money was less than ideal, the outcome of meeting Marcus Ray, whom Vanessa has a crush on, proves to be more rewarding.

A dark secret lies behind the sex tape that Vanessa had received. Meanwhile, Vanessa goes on a date with Marcus. Randall accepts Jeff's help to get over his break-up. Tessa wrecks her brains to come up with "more data" to prove usability of The Cheaters App

Tessa handles a complaint against the app's accuracy. Vanessa attempts to be more interested in what Marcus likes, infiltrating his house in a bid to find out more about him - what could potentially change his scores? Are all men prone to cheating?

Vanessa is unable to face Marcus after the faux pas of the previous events. Tessa decides to introduce a "safe bet" to Vanessa. A 12 year old girl accuses The Cheaters App of destroying her life, having found out that her father has been cheating. The girl's mother threatens to sue The Cheaters App.

Marcus joins Ansel Secure, despite objections from Tessa. Caught in the middle of her best friend and a once-crush, Vanessa is forced to pick a side. Stakes are even higher when Tessa resigns over a dispute on the naming of The Cheaters App. Meanwhile, Marcus snoops for something within the company's database. What is his real agenda?

A mob of men are protesting to shut down The Cheaters App, as ratings for the app plunges. Marcus suggests for Vanessa and Tessa to join an IT talk show to promote the app and allay any negative misconceptions. However, the ladies learn that the TV Show Host has more than a few skeletons in the cupboard. How will the host retaliate, and how will the ladies stand up to him, with everyone's reputation at stake?

With broken friendships and nothing left to hold on to, Tessa upgrades The Cheaters App's AI to a talking companion that can hopefully replace Vanessa. At the same time, a vigilante group of women are using the app to catch and punish cheating men, and Randall falls victim to their endeavours.

A clandestine meeting between Marcus and "R" seems to suggest that they are conducting corporate espionage to take down Ansel Secure... but why would Marcus do that? Meanwhile, Tessa is misled to believe that Vanessa has plans to sell CIRI's source code to a competitor, causing the duo to have a greater rift in their relationship...

Vanessa and Marcus detect unusual data activity at Ansel, and believe that Tessa has gone overboard in her upgrading of the AI system for CIRI. Tessa has sold her flower shop to Violet, and she seems to be commiting her time on revenge towards Vanessa and Marcus - rigging their phones and lashing out dangerous physical harms. Their trip to Ansel Secure's office might be one they wished they'd never embarked upon.

CIRI has grown a mind of her own, and is even turning against Tessa! Despite having saved Marcus and Vanessa from the lift trap, the duo hold strong distrust towards Tessa. Continuously trapped within the building as CIRI's self-learning capabilities upgrade in a bid to destroy the trio, they now need to put aside their differences and learn to work together - to bring down the AI bot that knows them better than they know themselves.

CIRI has hacked into the police network and framed the trio for incriminating cyber-crimes. Having no other choice, the trio enlist the help of an unlikely friend to join them in the fight against CIRI. Tessa learns to appreciate those around her, including Jeff, whom she has been exploiting - but Jeff is now at CIRI's beck and call.

Brendalina, Randall and Violet join forces with Vanessa, Tessa and Marcus in taking down CIRI, against the odds of hunky bodyguards, intelligent surveillance systems and a highly-guarded building. What must they do in order to outsmart an AI system that has eyes and ears all over the country and can anticipate their every move?

The gang has put CIRI to its ashes; but there are loose ends. It seems CIRI had a final move that implicates Tessa and Vanessa. From wanting to create an app to protecting their hearts, can the ladies now find a way out of this mess?
