Dollah Kassim was a professional footballer who represented Singapore between 1968 and 1981. Nicknamed the “gelek king” for his masterfully graceful style of play and skilful dribbling, Dollah Kassim was in the national team for 11 years. In this clip, he shared about how match allowances or bonuses did not exist in his time, but it was the players’ passion for the game which fuelled their training sessions and matches.
