In Singapore, the celebration for Hari Raya Haji might be more subdued compared to Hari Raya Puasa. However, Hari Raya Haji, is no less significant to the Muslim community here. Hari Raya Haji or Hari Raya Korban, takes on a much more spiritual nature as compared to Hari Raya Puasa. Hari Raya Haji marks the end of the Muslim pilgrimage or the Haj in the holy city of Mecca and is linked with the act of sacrifice and giving. Rayakustika 2020 will be celebrating this spirit of sacrifice and giving through the songs performed and stories shared in the programme. The tone for the one hour show will be casual, light-hearted with inspirational moments that serves to uplift the spirit. The themes of giving back; positivity and uplifting members of the community will be present throughout the programme. These themes will be evident via stories shared by the 2 interviewees. They will be sharing their stories live' in the theatre. The stories will revolve around their sacrifice for the family...
