Chef, athlete and founder of food and beverage company Wilder and Lokalfeed, Azurah Khalid offers an insight into minimising food waste and reducing the amount of single-use plastics in the industry. At last year’s Climate Action Carnival, Azurah hosted a panel and conducted a live cooking session that busted myths surrounding “ugly” food. Through her work, people are inspired to turn different types of produce and leftovers into clean and nutritional meals. In this episode, Amyrah joins Azurah in the kitchen as she whips up a fresh meal using blemished or oddly shaped food that people are usually tempted to throw away.
